Dave Wilkinson // Around this time the straight-edge faction of Little Rock was around even though Entrance was broken up. Earth Crisis, Mean Season, Unbroken and The Champions played Vino's. For a long time I never smoked, drank or did any drugs. But I was edge but never militant/hardline...anyway, this show was a pretty big deal even though there wasn't a whole lot of people at the show. Earth Crisis wasn't as big as they would become years later. It was fun show and only one of the bands smoke and drank and that was the opening band Champions. To my knowledge Little Rock never had a hardline problem like Memphis did in the early 90s, but I know there were people handing out literature and pamphlets at every show just about. Of course I saw maybe one fight (or near fight between sXer's and punks....see Strange Brew entry).
