'Arkansongs' radio program evolves to a weekly ![]() By 2001, Merckx leaves the state and Koch's now-solo "Arkansongs" radio program evolves to a weekly pre-recorded segment on Little Rock National Public Radio affiliate KUAR FM-89. By 2005, "Arkansongs" is syndicated on NPR affiliates across the state, is a syndicated newspaper column and has featured profiles of HTS Records and Max Recordings as well as Arkansas performers like American Princes, Big Silver, the Munks and Jason Morphew in addition to such classic state artists as Johnny Cash and Al Green.
